Then I heard again what sounded like the shouting of a huge crowd, or like the waves of a hundred oceans crashing on the shore, or like the mighty rolling of great thunder, “Praise the Lord. For the Lord our God, the Almighty, reigns.” Revelation 19:6 TLB
I woke up this morning hearing these words in my head, “Our God reigns.”
I wondered, “Is that from the Bible? Are you whispering to me God?”
I went to the laptop and Googled it.
The first thing I saw was the song below by Israel Houghton.
Then, I went to another search site for scripture and there it was, Revelation 19:6 in The Living Bible:
Then I heard again what sounded like the shouting of a huge crowd, or like the waves of a hundred oceans crashing on the shore, or like the mighty rolling of great thunder, “Praise the Lord. For the Lord our God, the Almighty, reigns.”
Who is this for?

I don’t know who you are, but lately you’ve been silently wondering if God is really in control?
There is upheaval and chaos everywhere, yes?
Didn’t Jesus say,
Jesus said, “Watch out for doomsday deceivers. Many leaders are going to show up with forged identities, claiming, ‘I am Christ, the Messiah.’ They will deceive a lot of people. When reports come in of wars and rumored wars, keep your head and don’t panic. This is routine history; this is no sign of the end. Nation will fight nation and ruler fight ruler, over and over. Famines and earthquakes will occur in various places. This is nothing compared to what is coming.
9-10 “They are going to throw you to the wolves and kill you, everyone hating you because you carry my name. And then, going from bad to worse, it will be dog-eat-dog, everyone at each other’s throat, everyone hating each other.
11-12 “In the confusion, lying preachers will come forward and deceive a lot of people. For many others, the overwhelming spread of evil will do them in—nothing left of their love but a mound of ashes.
13-14 “Staying with it—that’s what God requires. Stay with it to the end. You won’t be sorry, and you’ll be saved. All during this time, the good news—the Message of the kingdom—will be preached all over the world, a witness staked out in every country. And then the end will come.
matthew 24: 4-14 the message
Our God Reigns!
The closer we get to Christ’s return the more chaotic things will get.

Jesus gave us this warning so we would be prepared for it.
“Keep your head and don’t panic.”
When things get crazy, it’s a good time to look up, and remember these verses in the Book of Revelation:
“I am the Alpha and the Omega—the beginning and the end,” says the Lord God. “I am the one who is, who always was, and who is still to come—the Almighty One.” Revelation 1:8 NLT
Then I heard again what sounded like the shouting of a huge crowd, or like the waves of a hundred oceans crashing on the shore, or like the mighty rolling of great thunder, “Praise the Lord. For the Lord our God, the Almighty, reigns.” Revelation 19:6 TLB
