God Was Always For You!

You can do this.

I’ve had lots of do-over’s in my life. Days where I stopped what I was doing, looked around, then decided that maybe there might be something new God was trying to show me. A new vision. A new direction. A new path for me to follow.

Haven’t we all had days where the fog finally cleared and “Voila!” there it was! Light emerging from that long dark tunnel we had been traversing.

I’ll confess, I’ve been through some long dark tunnel experiences in my life. What a relief it was when the Light of God’s word showed me, “Here is the way.”

  • Suddenly you see!
  • Your waiting is rewarded.
  • You have a new sense of direction and purpose…
  • And a new starting line.
  • A do-over.

A new beginning!

And as you begin to see, that all the darkness of the tunnel, really had a wonderful purpose in the end…

  • Those dark days were only a place you had to travel through.
  • And now God has given birth to this new vista.
  • One brimming with a new hope.

You take His hand with confidence, knowing, that His ultimate purposes for you are going to be more than you might have ever dreamed possible.

God Was Always For You!

But now the Lord who created you, O Israel, says: Don’t be afraid, for I have ransomed you; I have called you by name; you are mine. When you go through deep waters and great trouble, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown! When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up—the flames will not consume you. For I am the Lord your God, your Savior, the Holy One of Israel. I gave Egypt and Ethiopia and Seba to Cyrus in exchange for your freedom, as your ransom. Others died that you might live; I traded their lives for yours because you are precious to me and honored, and I love you.

Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. I will gather you from east and west, from north and south. I will bring my sons and daughters back to Israel from the farthest corners of the earth. All who claim me as their God will come, for I have made them for my glory; I created them. Bring them back to me—blind as they are and deaf when I call (although they see and hear!). Gather the nations together! …  Isaiah 43:1-9  TLB

You’ve been through rivers of difficulty.

God Was Always For You!

You’ve walked through fires of oppression.

But you’re still here.

You weren’t destroyed.

God had a plan all along.

Now, He speaks:

But forget all that—it is nothing compared to what I’m going to do! For I’m going to do a brand-new thing. See, I have already begun! Don’t you see it? I will make a road through the wilderness of the world for my people to go home, and create rivers for them in the desert!  Isaiah 43:18-19 TLB

Oh, sweet girl. What a plan He has for you.

What you went through was not The End.

Oh, no!

All you have been through was only the preparation for where you and God are going.

For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. Jeremiah 29:11 NLT
