Pray The Name

Because I love Zion,
    I will not keep still.
Because my heart yearns for Jerusalem,
    I cannot remain silent.
I will not stop praying for her
until her righteousness shines like the dawn,
and her salvation blazes like a burning torch. Isaiah 62:1 NLT

You know? It’s easy to watch the news and get so overwhelmed with a sense of helplessness over this war in Israel, but we know as believers in Christ, we are neither helpless, or hopeless!

I just finished watching the video below, and it is full of hopeful suggestions on what we can do to help.

Ever heard of the Aliyah Foundation?

I hadn’t. This video was a first time for me, but this group have mobilized people in Israel who are now delivering meals to people like ,the elderly, and folks with family members who are disabled, who are afraid to leave their houses because of continuing and relentless rocket attacks.

Or, how about…

Pray The Name

This was such a fantastic idea!

You choose a name from the list of hostages, and write it on your hand.

Then every time you see the name, YOU PRAY THE NAME.

You lift a prayer for that hostage and their safety and safe return.

I chose Abigail Edan, 3 years old, taken by Hamas, and held somewhere in Gaza.

What a wonderful way to remove any sense of helplessness, or hopelessness!

Standing With Israel

There are so many things we can’t do, but, we can all do something.

I myself support Rabbi Curt Landry of Curt Landry Ministries, but there are many worthy groups working in Israel to help right now.

Can I suggest you watch the video below?

It shares many ways you can help.

It really does give you a joyful heart when you find a way to get involved and do something.

Please take a stand for Israel.

Please continue to pray for the safe return of the hostages.

Please pray for the safety of the innocent Palestinians.
