The Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one. –2 Thess.3:3
There is something on my heart this Purim/Palm Sunday.

I want you to know, that if the Lord should call you aside to a secret place, do not worry about what others may say.
Tarry with Him.
Jesus often led His disciples into a quiet desert place if He desired time alone with them so He could instruct and teach them without distractions.
However long it be? He will guide you faithfully.
Is it not a good thing that He still does the same today?
Fear not…
Others may not understand; may even speak ill of you, but it will always work out in the end for your good.

There is nothing sweeter than time alone with your Shepherd.
There in that secret place with Him He whispers sweet instruction and encouragement.
Our Shepherd never misleads His flock so, fear not. This time away from the noise and hurly-burly of the world is not wasted time.
Established and Kept
Men are often as devoid of reason as of faith. There is no use in arguing with them or trying to be at peace with them: they are false at heart and deceitful in speech. Shall we worry ourselves with them? No, let us turn to the Lord, for He is faithful. No promise from His Word will ever be broken. He is neither unreasonable in His demands upon us, nor unfaithful to our claims upon Him.

He will establish us so that wicked men shall not cause our downfall. What a blessing for us that we need not contend with men, but are allowed to shelter ourselves in the Lord Jesus. There is one true heart, one faithful mind, one unchanging Love; there let us repose. The Lord will fulfill the purpose of His grace to us His servants, and we need not allow a shadow of a fear to fall upon our spirits.

You in Your lovingkindness and goodness have led the people whom You have redeemed; In Your strength You have guided them with care to Your holy habitation. Exodus 15:13 Amp.
(Deborah, I want you to know you were on my heart as I wrote this post, from beginning to end. I listened to this beautiful piano music and scripture this morning. How it filled my heart with peace and courage! May it do the same for all who listen to it! God’s sweetest blessings to you this lovely Purim day.)
