Unfit, Unfair, & Unimaginable ~ A Perfect Combination!

by womenwithdestinyPosted on June 28, 2017

Life has taught me  that God can take an unfit vessel, and subject them to grossly unfair treatment, in some unimaginable DARK PIT, and by that perfect combination—create a GIANT of faith!

Perhaps it is because suffering is so transformative.

The greater the suffering the greater the transformation.

I believe it was Corrie Ten Boom who wrote, “There is no pit so deep that God’s love is not deeper still.” and she surely knew the truth of that statement, for she was a holocaust survivor of Auschwitz.

Could there have been a deeper pit?

Would Joseph have thought so?

Perhaps.

Joseph certainly was unfit in the beginning. He had a promise from God but simply did not know how to wisely steward it. He had a big dream but God’s set time had not yet come. Joseph still had miles to go, and many unimaginable, painful and unfair experiences to walk through before he arrived at his manifestation.

I don’t completely understand why a pit prepares us for the palace. I just believe it does. Ask Joseph, or Moses, or David, or Jeremiah, they will all tell you—before honor comes humility.

Proverbs 15:33 KJV

Wouldn’t it be nice if we could just get our promises from God and go straight to the palace? It sure seems like that would be the more efficient way to me.

But God knows just what kind of suffering will break the pride, bend the knee, and soften the heart, without destroying the seeds of vision and hope for a higher outcome.

Another mysterious alchemy of God?

And all seeds KNOW this:

You God, know better than I.

So I will wait and trust through the unimaginable dark days.

I will let go of the need to know why and I will BELIEVE that even in a pit I can sing, because I KNOW I am growing into Your vision for me.

I will reach for  the arms of grace available for my suffering.

endurance

“I waited patiently for the LORD; he turned to me and heard my cry.  He lifted me out of the slimy pit, out of the mud and mire; he set my feet on a rock and gave me a firm place to stand.”

Psalm 40: 1-2

I am a passionate follower of Jesus Christ, with an equally passionate belief that every woman who chooses to follow Jesus, has been destined for greatness in His Kingdom. He chose YOU to change the world and you have everything you need IN HIM to do it!

Hi! I’m Molly…

And I want you to know you haven’t come to this page by chance. I have asked God to bring you here. I have asked God to give you everything you need most…

And yes, I have asked Him to give you HOPE as you search for your own unique PURPOSE.

LORD, right now, will You wrap your arms around the precious one who is reading this. Will you breathe fresh hope into their heart, and bring fresh strength to their life. Please teach them Jesus… just HOW MUCH You love them!

In Jesus Name I ask this, amen.

GOD LOVES YOU!

He does, you know….  LOVE YOU!

And, I’ll tell you something else that might surprise you… He wants you to know Him and find the purpose that He has planned for your life.

Thank you for coming to my blog. God bless you!

“I will answer them before they even call to me. While they are still talking to me about their needs, I will go ahead and answer their prayers!”
