Just as the mountains surround and protect Jerusalem, so the Lord surrounds and protects his people. Psalm 125: 2 TLB
It is a watershed day when you finally learn—God protects in and through the storms of life—as well as from them.
The day you come to believe that changes everything.
“In this world you will have trouble…” is a statement that was true when Jesus said it thousands of years ago, and it is still true today. Until He puts His foot on that mountain in Jerusalem, this world will see lots, and lots, of trouble! But, remember what He said next?
“… cheer up, for I have overcome the world.” John 16:33
Take heart—He overcomes the world.
Your assignment is to believe that He can and He will!
“Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This is the word of the Lord… saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the Lord of hosts.” Zechariah 4: 6
I often remind myself that those words, “might” and “power” mean “mighty armies or great riches.” God overcomes all by Himself. He does not need armies, or riches, though He has both.
No, He speaks, and it is done.
But I have witnesses, O Israel, says the Lord! You are my witnesses and my servants, chosen to know and to believe me and to understand that I alone am God. There is no other God; there never was and never will be. I am the Lord, and there is no other Savior. Whenever you have thrown away your idols, I have shown you my power. With one word I have saved you. You have seen me do it; you are my witnesses that it is true. From eternity to eternity I am God. No one can oppose what I do. Isaiah 43: 10-13 TLB

There is nothing you are facing that takes Him by surprise.
When the bottom falls out—He will catch you.
As the mountains surround and protect Jerusalem, so the LORD surrounds and protects his people; from trouble, and in trouble, He is there.
He is faithful.
Whatever mountains you are facing today?
He can move them. Don’t focus on your mountains. Focus on His promise to you:
[ The Help of God ] But in the depths of my heart I truly know that you, Yahweh, have become my Shield; You take me and surround me with yourself. Your glory covers me continually. You lift high my head when I bow low in shame. Psalm 3:3 TPT
LORD, “You take us and surround us with Yourself.”
We believe.
