What does it mean to have ZOE?
(Zoe means “creation life.”)
So, what does that look like?
Well, let me ask you, “What does JOY bubbling up from the center of your soul look like?”
What does peace that can withstand any kind of storm look like?
What does confident believing look like, when all the odds are stacked against you, and you’re staring down some Goliath with only one puny slingshot, and a few small stones?
Zoe is BELIEVING on steroids
(At least that’s what I believe.)
Zoe is livin’ large at Ephesians 3:20:
Now glory be to God, who by his mighty power at work within us is able to do far more than we would ever dare to ask or even dream of—infinitely beyond our highest prayers, desires, thoughts, or hopes. [TLB]
Now I ask you, “Who wouldn’t want to live there?”
However… Zoe is not an outside job.
It isn’t based on your circumstances.
You can’t have it by achieving, powering through, or getting connected to all the “right” people.
(Psst… “Zoe is an inside job.”)
Zoe is not an “it” it’s a Who.
It’s a person. A very, very, VERY powerful, power source.
He wants to be with you in everything you do; with you everywhere you go; to manifest His power and life in you and through you, to everyone you will ever meet.
Talk about having it all
Zoe is the fulfilled Promised One who is the “expression of the fullness of the life of Christ.” The one that God has promised (and delivered) to anyone who has come to salvation through Jesus Christ. For Believers, it is the power of the indwelling Spirit of God; the third Person of the Trinity.
He is the One Jesus called the Comforter.
But when the Father sends the Comforter instead of me—and by the Comforter I mean the Holy Spirit—he will teach you much, as well as remind you of everything I myself have told you. John 14: 26
He is the One Jesus promised to provide His followers.
“But the fact of the matter is that it is best for you that I go away, for if I don’t, the Comforter won’t come. If I do, he will—for I will send him to you.” John 16: 7
He is the unfailing, unshakable, absolutely essential One, who will lead and guide every Believer who asks for His help.
“But I will send you the Comforter—the Holy Spirit, the source of all truth. He will come to you from the Father and will tell you all about me.” John 15: 26
The key to power-BELIEVING is… IN HIM
As a passionate follower of Jesus Christ…
Who has chosen to follow Jesus?
YOU are destined for greatness in His Kingdom.
(Not greatness of the stuff of this world.)
Kingdom greatness is about the passionate pursuit of your purpose. Kingdom destiny is about accomplishing everything you were born to do.
He chose YOU to change the world! And you have everything you need IN HIM to do it. The Zoe of God is in you… so?
