Harvest Song: The Reaper

I see them LORD! In fields grand,

Advancing like waves upon the sand;

First, like wheat, they appear to be

But as closer they come–men’s faces I see!

Harvest Song: The Reaper

~~~~~~~~
A living harvest! That’s what I meet;
Fields of men with marching feet.
Steadily moving–lines straight and true;
The souls of nations come into view!
Harvest Song: The Reaper
~~~~~~~

Millions upon millions–destined for where?

Their song becomes clearer, as I stand and stare,

“One-by-one… by one… by one…”

This living grain, now singing, comes…

Harvest Song: The Reaper

~~~~~~~
Marching toward eternity. What will their destination be?
With heart of love–eyes filled with tears,
I lift my cross–lay down my fears.
This grain won’t wait–it’s up to us
I, too, now march; join in their chorus.
One-by-one, the harvest sings,
One-by-one, the reaper brings!
He turned to his disciples and said, “The harvest is huge and ripe! But there are not enough harvesters to bring it all in.  As you go, plead with the Owner of the Harvest to thrust out many more reapers to harvest his grain!” Matthew 9:37-38 TPT
