Plentiful Harvest

Then God will supply you with abundant rain
    for the seeds you sow.

Jesus Christ is our Lord and King, and He has said, “Jesus understood what an awesome task was before Him, so He said to His disciples, “The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few.” Matthew 9:37 The Voice

We are His disciples. That means He is looking to us to bring in this harvest in our generation.

No one else is going to do it.

It is up to us.

Upon His heart a broken world

It was Leonard Ravenhill who said,

“But you know if God should stamp eternity or even judgment on our eyeballs, or if you’d like on the fleshy table of our hearts I am quite convinced we’d be a very, very different tribe of people, God’s people, in the world today. We live too much in time, we’re too earth bound. We see as other men see, we think as other men think. We invest our time as the world invests it. We’re supposed to be a different breed of people. I believe that the church of Jesus Christ needs a new revelation of the majesty of God. We’re all going to stand one day, can you imagine it- at the judgment seat of Christ to give an account for the deeds done in the body. This is what- this is the King of kings, and He’s the Judge of judges, and it’s the Tribunal of tribunals, and there’s no court of appeal after it. The verdict is final.”

This Gospel that is ours–it is our message to take to a broken world that is dying for hope. We have that HOPE–His name is Jesus.

Upon our hearts His name is written

The Apostle Paul said we are a “letter from Christ.”

Clearly, you are a letter from Christ showing the result of our ministry among you. This “letter” is written not with pen and ink, but with the Spirit of the living God. It is carved not on tablets of stone, but on human hearts. 2 Corinthians 3:3 NLT

Imagine that!

• You carry Jesus Christ’s message of hope. [Rom. 5:4]
• You are His letter to broken hearts everywhere. [Lam. 3:4]
• A message read of all men. [2 Cor. 3:2]
• As His commissioned ambassadors the Harvest is our job. [2 Cor. 5:20]

Let us do our part!

We have got to carry out our part, yes?

Let Him not come again, and find us, passively sitting on the sidelines.

And… He shall come again

Ask yourself, “What is my God given assignment?”

“I, Paul, am on special assignment for Christ, carrying out God’s plan laid out in the Message of Life by Jesus. I write this to you, Timothy, the son I love so much. All the best from our God and Christ be yours!” 2 Timothy 1:1-2 Msg.

Then ask, “What is the greatest passion on my heart?”

“He said, “That you love the Lord your God with all your passion and prayer and muscle and intelligence—and that you love your neighbor as well as you do yourself.” Luke 10:27 Msg

We know, He has given us gifts. (He shall come again.) Shall He find us sleeping?

“Don’t waste your time on useless work, mere busywork, the barren pursuits of darkness. Expose these things for the sham they are. It’s a scandal when people waste their lives on things they must do in the darkness where no one will see. Rip the cover off those frauds and see how attractive they look in the light of Christ. Wake up from your sleep, Climb out of your coffins; Christ will show you the light! So watch your step. Use your head. Make the most of every chance you get. These are desperate times!” Ephesians 5:11-16

God has given you everything to accomplish your destined purpose.

“Every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realm has already been lavished upon us as a love gift from our wonderful heavenly Father, the Father of our Lord Jesus—all because he sees us wrapped into Christ. This is why we celebrate him with all our hearts! And he chose us to be his very own, joining us to himself even before he laid the foundation of the universe! Because of his great love, he ordained us, so that we would be seen as holy in his eyes with an unstained innocence.” Ephesians 1:3-4 TPT

YOU are His priceless, chosen, capable BRIDE.

For such a time as this, yes?

The time for wishing for the moon is over.
