Average Vs. Extraordinary

“But the seed in the good earth—these are the good-hearts who seize the Word and hold on no matter what, sticking with it until there’s a harvest.” Luke 8:15 Msg.

You are, “the seed in good earth” because you are carriers of His light.

Average Vs. Extraordinary

You are, “the good-hearts who seize the Word and hold on no matter what” because you are His workmanship, created in Him to do good works.

You were put here, is this time, in this exact place, to change every environment you step into.

You were created for 3:20 living!

God can do anything, you know—far more than you could ever imagine or guess or request in your wildest dreams! He does it not by pushing us around but by working within us, his Spirit deeply and gently within us. Ephesians 3:20 Msg.

Thinking “Average” seeds

Please listen to what Andy Andrews wrote about seeking average,

“If your thinking is causing you to do what everyone else is doing, you are only contributing to the average. Even if you are contributing to the average at a high level, it is still…average.

Average Vs. Extraordinary

“Do you want to be average? Do you want an average life span or an average lifestyle? Do you want an average marriage? Do you want to raise average children? Do you want an average spiritual life? Do you want average financial results? Do you want an average amount of influence for good in your community?

“…to produce results that are extraordinary – you cannot afford to think like average people think. You cannot act like average people act. You cannot be what average people are…which is normal.” –Andy Andrews, The Noticer Returns

Going after extraordinary seeds of Light

Have you had extraordinary trials in your life?

Jesus said, “I have told you all this so that you will have peace of heart and mind. Here on earth you will have many trials and sorrows; but cheer up, for I have overcome the world.” John 16:33 TLB

Has your last twelve months been filled with extraordinary setbacks?

The Apostle Peter wrote, “Dear friends, don’t be bewildered or surprised when you go through the fiery trials ahead, for this is no strange, unusual thing that is going to happen to you. Instead, be really glad—because these trials will make you partners with Christ in his suffering, and afterwards you will have the wonderful joy of sharing his glory in that coming day when it will be displayed.” 1 Peter 4:12-13 TLB

Average Vs. Extraordinary

Are you wondering, how in the world you are ever going to pull off your assignment from God… let alone keep going?

The Apostle Paul wrote, “And I continually long to know the wonders of Jesus more fully and to experience the overflowing power of his resurrection working in me. I will be one with him in his sufferings and I will be one with him in his death. Only then will I be able to experience complete oneness with him in his resurrection from the realm of death.” Philippians 3:10-11 TPT

Paul knew that, if he was going to experience the power of Jesus and His resurrection, the fellowship of His suffering went along with it.

(Am I hearing an “Amen!” anywhere out there?)

The cost of following Jesus

If ever there was a time for God’s power manifested on the earth it is now.

Jesus told us to, “…count the cost.”

C. S. Lewis said,

“Extraordinary things only happen to extraordinary people. Maybe it’s a sign that you’ve got an extraordinary destiny–something greater than you could’ve imagined.”

Could it be, that you are destined for more than you could ever ask for, or possibly even imagine? Even those requests of yours that seemed higher than your wildest dreams?

Ephesians 3:20 dreams have a price–but following Jesus is worth it all.

“Loving God means obeying his commands. And God’s commands are not too hard for us, because everyone who is a child of God conquers the world. And this is the victory that conquers the world—our faith.” 1 John 5:3-4 NCV

You are the world’s light

In his wonderful book, “The Noticer Returns” Andy Andrews also wrote,

“Light always trumps darkness. It always has, and it always will. Therefore… if you believe that your world is darkening…if you believe that the culture of your nation is growing dimmer by the year…don’t blame it on the dark! Darkness is only doing what darkness does.

“If darkness is winning the battles, my friend, it is because light is not doing it’s job. You are light. So wake up. Wake up.” –Andy Andrews, The Noticer Returns

You are the world’s light—a city on a hill, glowing in the night for all to see. Matthew 5:14 TLB
