Applause, everyone. Bravo, bravissimo! Shout God-songs at the top of your lungs! God Most High is stunning, astride land and ocean. He crushes hostile people, puts nations at our feet. He set us at the head of the line, prize-winning Jacob, his favorite. Loud cheers as God climbs the mountain, a ram’s horn blast at the summit. Sing songs to God, sing out! Sing to our King, sing praise! He’s Lord over earth, so sing your best songs to God.
God is Lord of godless nations—sovereign, he’s King of the mountain. Princes from all over are gathered, people of Abraham’s God.
The powers of earth are God’s—he soars over all. Psalm 47:1-9 MSG
The song says, He has washed away our shame; ransomed us, and now,
“We can do all things through Christ!”

Yes—I love those words!
As royalty— we are marked out from before our birth—with a Kingdom design and purpose.
You are a chosen, one of a kind, highly-esteemed personage of the royal household of Jesus Christ–and as such, you have been destined for a Kingdom purpose.
That, is your destiny.
It’s in The Book:
But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvelous light: 1 Peter 2:9

God knew all about you before you were ever born.
(That has always been a truth that has been more than a little difficult for me to get my mind around.)
When we in the Church start talking predestination I confess I get more than a little baffled.
But understand it or not—it’s also in The Book.
According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:
Ephesians 1:4
You were destined to be a child of The King of Kings before you drew your first breath.
You are chosen–destined for royal purposes.
How often I hear people describe themselves as, “I am just a….” then they fill in the blank with what they DO.

Destiny isn’t about what you do.
Destiny is about WHOSE you are!
And if you belong to The King of Kings?
If you are a believer and follower of Jesus Christ?
Then you are a beloved child of The Most High God!
You are not a “just” anything. You have royal blood flowing through those veins. You have been given gifts, with Kingdom purpose and power, backing you up.
The Bible uses the Greek word exousia.
According to Strong’s Concordance that word means,
“conferred power or delegated empowerment; authority, right, privilege, and jurisdiction.”
That, dearest one, is who you are and what you have!
So, the next time someone tries to make you feel like you are nothing, you just let the Word of God be the lifter of your head.
But thou, O LORD, art a shield for me; my glory, and the lifter up of mine head. Psalm 3:3
Remember whose you are.
Remember why you were put on this planet and what you are destined to do!
You are the child of a King!
That is your destiny.
When you found Him you found everything you will ever need to carry out your Kingdom purpose.
That is exactly why you were born.
