God’s gifts and God’s call are under full warranty—never canceled, never rescinded. Romans 11:29 The Message
God has not changed His mind about you.
He has not rescinded your calling.
He has not cancelled your destined purpose.
Your enemy is the one who plants those seeds of fear and doubt.
Once again, “God’s gifts and God’s call are under full warranty—never canceled, never rescinded.”
You are called…
You were put on this planet with a purpose.

You are not here by accident.
This is your time.
This is your season.
COVID can delay you–but it can never stop you; unless you surrender to fear and discouragement!
Keep your focus on Jesus
He is your Shepherd.
He has redeemed you.
He has chosen you.
You are HIS.
Obstacles are irrelevant
I once read, “Omnipotence has servants everywhere.”
This season of shutdown may have turned things topsy-turvy in your life. (I am with you on that one!)
This last year has been crazy for me, and I am having to focus harder now than I have ever have before.

It would be so easy to find excuses to quit right now:
I am too old.
I am too tired.
I am too broken.
But, my Shepherd keeps lovingly reminding me…
Things will always be difficult, or look impossible to you if you keep your focus on the mountains in front of you.
But, I have given you authority over your mountains. (Matthew 17:20)
Every time I get discouraged, thinking I should quit, I hear my Shepherd whisper,

“Keep your beautiful eyes on Me. I have chosen you. I have redeemed you. You are mine. (Isaiah 43:1)
I haven’t changed my mind about you. I called you. I commissioned you. You are My ambassador to the nations. (Isaiah 42:6)
I will NEVER leave you; NEVER forsake you. (Hebrews 13:5)
Follow Me.” (Matthew 4:19)

Carpe Diem
Every time I hear someone quoting that verse from Exodus, where God is asking Moses, “What is that in your hand?” I am holding a pen.

Then, I know what Jesus is asking and calling me to do, “Seize the day!”
- And so, I pray again.
- I plead for the Holy Spirit’s help, and words that anyone who reads this blog needs to hear.
- Then I sit down before this laptop, without script, or outline.
- And, I write.
I seize the day, because I am certain…
God will have the final victorious word in my life.
He has chosen me.
Therefore, His Spirit will empower me.
I have His help, and His help is all I need to keep moving forward.

After breakfast Jesus said to Simon Peter, “Simon, son of John, do you love me more than these others?”
“Yes,” Peter replied, “you know I am your friend.”
“Then feed my lambs,” Jesus told him.
Jesus repeated the question: “Simon, son of John, do you really love me?”
“Yes, Lord,” Peter said, “you know I am your friend.”
“Then take care of my sheep,” Jesus said.
Once more he asked him, “Simon, son of John, are you even my friend?”
Peter was grieved at the way Jesus asked the question this third time. “Lord, you know my heart; you know I am,” he said.
Jesus said, “Then feed my little sheep.
