He Knows You

People of the world who don’t know God pursue these things, but you have a Father caring for you, a Father who knows all your needs. Luke 12:30 The Voice

He knows you–all of it.

(I’m talking about your Father in heaven.)

He knows everywhere you’ve been.

He knows where you are now; all the things you’ve done.

He isn’t looking down the road, watching for someone else.

Oh no.

He’s watching for you, His runaway.

God’s flawless GPS

God has an amazing GPS called omnipresence.

Where ever you go–because He knows you are there–He’s there, too.

He knows your every heartache.

He sees… He knows…

In fact, God loves you so intimately, He saves ALL your tears!

You’ve kept track of all my wandering and my weeping.

You’ve stored my many tears in your bottle—not one will be lost.

For they are all recorded in your book of remembrance.

Psalm 56:8 TPT

You are NOT alone.

The Father’s arms

I remember when God tracked me down.

He completely blew my mind with His love.

(I was expecting His harsh anger.)

Instead, God wrapped up my broken heart in His tender loving arms.

(I thought, “I don’t deserve this.”)

But God’s love?

He would not turn me loose; he would not let me go!

I remember getting Cold Feet

I had been a “returned prodigal” about two weeks, when I suddenly, got very cold feet.

I looked around at all the other Christians in the church I was attending. They looked so perfect to me–their lives looked so “together.”

I thought, “I can’t do this!”

(Some of my old crowd had been reaching out to me.)

So, I bailed out on church; told them to forget about me.

But, Stubborn Love won’t give up

Yeah, it was stubborn love that would not let me quit.

Real love will never give up on you.

It is stubborn and tenacious.

It just keeps coming; keeps searching.

(You can try to run, of course.)

You know you can.

But Dear-heart? God’s stubborn love will never give up on you.

Joyful Welcome Home

And, when you’re finally ready?

When you are weary, worn out, and tired of running?

Stubborn love will be there, arms wide open, patiently waiting… longing to joyfully welcome you home.

So, RUN to your Father!

Jesus continued, “In the same way, there will be a GLORIOUS CELEBRATION in heaven over the rescue of one lost sinner who repents, comes back home, and returns to the fold—more so than for all the righteous people who never strayed away.”

luke 15:7 TPT
