Those who walk the fields to sow, casting their seed in tears,
will one day tread those same long rows, amazed by what’s appeared.
Psalm 126:5 The Voice

Through the long winter days,
Warm hints of the Spring
Would drift through my mind,
Wrapping hope in green imaginings.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Though deep darkness lingered,
With it’s long bitter nights
Signs of Spring seemed to whisper,
I Am coming–bringing Light.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Hold onto this hope; My appearing is near.
Trust in My promise–lay down every fear,
Long waiting soon rewarded;
While your courage dries tears.
I Am LORD of the seasons,
Winter must yeild to Me!

So, away with dismay; Let sorrows depart!
As My joy, and My goodness, begin to impart…
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Fresh beginnings! Yes, I bring them,
For I pledge to you this…
All your tears sown in dark days
Will now bloom in bliss!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Did I not vow, for each tear that you sow,
A harvest of plenty would blossom and grow?
My Words, once believed, shall never depart;
Spring’s new buds, now blossom, to bloom in your heart.
The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is upon me,
Isaiah 61:1-2 NLT
for the Lord has anointed me
to bring good news to the poor.
He has sent me to comfort the brokenhearted
and to proclaim that captives will be released
and prisoners will be freed.
He has sent me to tell those who mourn
that the time of the Lord’s favor has come,
and with it, the day of God’s anger against their enemies.
