Oh yes, people of Zion, citizens of Jerusalem, your time of tears is over. Cry for help and you’ll find it’s grace and more grace. The moment he hears, he’ll answer. Isaiah 30:19 The Message

I have no idea who this post is for.
I only know someone is out there looking for an answer, and I know this.
God has your answer.
If God got me up, at three in the morning, to send you this message?
Shouldn’t you be wise enough to ask Him?
So, why not cry for His help.
3 AM wake-up call
I have had God lead me in some strange ways in the past.

But… in the middle of the night?
With the words of a sea shanty?
Yep, you heard right.
I’m laying there, and all of a sudden I hear in my head,
“… Keep Hauling. Keep Hauling.”
Don’t Let Go
And those words from a sea shanty make me think of a sermon I just listened to.
In the nick of time
I’m remembering (again) the words in Psalm 107.
Because, I’ve been there.
Praying, and praying, for an answer you can’t see.
Then, God shows up with “a word” from His Word!

Some of you set sail in big ships;
you put to sea to do business in faraway ports.
Out at sea you saw God in action,
saw his breathtaking ways with the ocean:
With a word he called up the wind—
an ocean storm, towering waves!
You shot high in the sky, then the bottom dropped out;
your hearts were stuck in your throats.
You were spun like a top, you reeled like a drunk,
you didn’t know which end was up.
Then you called out to God in your desperate condition;
he got you out in the nick of time.
He quieted the wind down to a whisper,
put a muzzle on all the big waves.
And you were so glad when the storm died down,
and he led you safely back to harbor.
So thank God for his marvelous love,
for his miracle mercy to the children he loves.
Lift high your praises when the people assemble,
shout Hallelujah when the elders meet!
Psalm 107:23-32 Msg
Hold Your Course
I don’t know what you may be going through.

But, God knows all about it.
I think He might be whispering, “Don’t let go. Hold your course.”
Perhaps, if you’re willing, your answer might be right here…
In the words of a sea shanty…
Hold onto hope.
Hold onto God.
He’s got your back.
