“For the people shall walk after the Lord. I shall roar as a lion at their enemies and my people shall return trembling from the west. Like a flock of birds, they will come from Egypt—like doves flying from Assyria. And I will bring them home again; it is a promise from the Lord.” Hosea 11:10-11 TLB

Well, here we are in a brand new year; the first year of this new decade.
As I have been praying about the posts for a new series, my mind kept turning to this question, “What kind of seeds will we sow?”
For is it not a fact, that what we sow we harvest?
And that led me to today’s subject: NO MORE EXCUSES.
You see, I am a gardener.
We all know that you don’t plant corn and get tomatoes.
Gardeners also know, you plan, long before you plant.

Even as the snows are still falling in our Northern mountains, I am studying and planning for what I will need for planting in the coming Spring.
Spiritual Lives with No Excuses
I hope you watch the video below because it’s a humdinger!

I felt like it literally jumped out at me as I was scrolling through my Youtube.
I had heard a recent prophecy about the “Roaring Twenties” and there it was!
You know, I believe it is time to roar.
(We’ve talked about this.)
But, what about our roar?
Well, it needs to be about our King’s business, right?
I loved a comment a fellow blogger recently left on one of my posts:
We are called by God to get out of our comfort zone and impact the world for Christ! We are called to be trailblazers in taking this Gospel of the Kingdom around the world.
People are watching us and when we make in spite of all the difficult situations we face and they ask, “How did you make it through?” … We tell them it was only by His grace and mercy.
— Kim Petitt, Beyond My Limitations
Please watch “ROAR” because …
We follow the Lamb, Our King, The Lion of the Tribe of Judah.
So, I wondered, “What will our roar sound like in these Roaring Twenties of ours?
Future Harvest Starts Now
What we plant today–we will harvest in our future, yes?
Therefore, I have decided we will kick-off this new year with a series discussing eight bible verses on the subject of sowing and harvest.

Think of yourself, just as a seed patiently waiting in the earth; waiting to come up a flower in the Gardener’s good time, up into the real world, the real waking. C.S. Lewis
I want to plant seeds in the beginning of this new decade that will bring in a great harvest!
We all know the sand is rapidly running through the hourglass.
Each day our decisions affect eternal outcomes for people on this planet.
Let’s talk about that.
For as long as Earth lasts,
planting and harvest, cold and heat,
Summer and winter, day and night
will never stop.” Genesis 8:22 The Message
