“Are you tired? Worn out? Burned out on religion? Come to me. Get away with me and you’ll recover your life. I’ll show you how to take a real rest. Walk with me and work with me—watch how I do it. Learn the unforced rhythms of grace. I won’t lay anything heavy or ill-fitting on you. Keep company with me and you’ll learn to live freely and lightly.” Matthew 11:28-30 The Message

There’s going to be a great party in Heaven.
It will be THE party to end all parties.
And, you know the BEST part?
You have been invited!
That’s right, there is a seat at the table, and your name is on the place card!
Rest, in His Presence
God’s presence is not hard to find.
Feeling His presence?
That is rare.
But, Jesus has issued everyone a standing invitation to talk with Him; to be with Him; for all of eternity.
You need only ask.
“Come to me.”

Could it be more simple?
Jesus says, “If you are weary and life is weighing you down? ‘Come to me.‘”
If you are willing?
If you are asking?
If you seek Him?
When you call on me, when you come and pray to me, I’ll listen. When you come looking for me, you’ll find me.
Jeremiah 29:12-13 The message
There is an open door for you.
An open door to Jesus

He is willing.
He is seeking you.
He is asking you to come.
Behold, I’m standing at the door, knocking. If your heart is open to hear my voice and you open the door within, I will come in to you and feast with you, and you will feast with me.

Come Away to Grace Alone

You do not live this life of following Jesus in your own strength.
(Truthfully, I can tell you, you are not that strong.)
No, that is the goodness of God.
His plan is to provide for you what you cannot provide yourself.
Now God has us where he wants us, with all the time in this world and the next to shower grace and kindness upon us in Christ Jesus. Saving is all his idea, and all his work. All we do is trust him enough to let him do it. It’s God’s gift from start to finish! We don’t play the major role. If we did, we’d probably go around bragging that we’d done the whole thing! No, we neither make nor save ourselves. God does both the making and saving. He creates each of us by Christ Jesus to join him in the work he does, the good work he has gotten ready for us to do, work we had better be doing.
Ephesians 2:7-10 the message
When you open the door to Him?

You open the door for Him to provide ALL that you will ever need
His grace and strength are free gifts.
All you have to do is reach out and take it.
That is why He is praying for you.
That is why He is inviting you.
Can you not discern this new day of destiny breaking forth around you? The early signs of my purposes and plans are bursting forth. The budding vines of new life are now blooming everywhere. The fragrance of their flowers whispers, “There is change in the air.” Arise, my love, my beautiful companion, and run with me to the higher place. For now is the time to arise and come away with me.
