The song says,
The work at Calvary, has washed away our shame.
Your blood has ransomed me. Now I walk in freedom and grace.
You are for us, not against us; we know You’re walking by our side.
As the dawn breaks we’ll proclaim that, “We can do all things through Christ!”
We are sons and daughters of God, chains are broken; they are broken.
We are sons and daughters of God; sin defeated; we are victorious…
Yes—I love those words!
As Women With Destiny we are royalty—marked out from before our birth—with a Kingdom design and purpose.
You are a chosen, highly-esteemed personage, of the royal household of Jesus Christ.
It’s in The Book!
But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvelous light:
1 Peter 2:9
God knew all about you before you were ever born.
(That has always been a truth that has been more than a little difficult for me to get my mind around!)
When we in the Church start talking predestination I confess I get more than a little baffled.
But understand it or not—it’s also in The Book.
According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:
You were destined to be a daughter of The King of Kings before you drew your first breath!
You were chosen and destined for royal purposes.
How often I hear women describe themselves as, “I am just a….” then they fill in the blank with what they DO.
Destiny isn’t about what you do. Destiny is about WHO you are! And if you belong to The King of Kings? If you are a believer and follower of Jesus Christ?
Then you are a beloved daughter of The Most High God!
You are not a “just” anything. You have royal blood flowing through those veins. You have been given gifts, with Kingdom purpose and power, backing you up!
The Bible uses the Greek word exousia.
According to Strong’s Concordance that word means,
“conferred power or delegated empowerment; authority, right, privilege, and jurisdiction.”
That, dearest one, is who you are and what you have! So the next time someone tries to make you feel like you are nothing, you just let the Word of God be the lifter of your head. ( But thou, O LORD, art a shield for me; my glory, and the lifter up of mine head. Psalm 3:3 )
Remember whose you are. Remember why you were put on this planet and what you are destined to do!
You are the daughter of a King!
That is your destiny girlfriend.
When you found Him you found everything you will ever need to carry out your Kingdom purpose.
That is exactly why you were born!
