Joy FULL Prayers

Those who walk the fields to sow, casting their seed in tears, will one day tread those same long rows, amazed by what’s appeared. Those who weep as they walk and plant with sighs will return singing with joy, when they bring home the harvest.

Psalm 126: 5-6

I Pray Crazy Prayers

I love to pray joy-full crazy prayers.

What do I mean by that?

Well, I believe that as a beloved daughter of the King of Kings, and Lord of Lords, I can change the world for others, and usher in the Kingdom here on earth through my prayers.

I believe a beloved daughter can ask anything of an Omnipotent Father.

So, I ask.

I also believe that every prayer prayed is a seed you sow.

You get what you plant, right?

What do you believe?

Do you believe that anything actually means, ANYTHING?

I do.

  • When we believe we can ask for the money to build a church–even if we live on a tiny Social Security check–ask!
  • Do you know YOU can walk a “prayer circle” around any abandoned building, if by faith, you SEE a church filled with people praising God!
  • I am even dreaming of creating a discipleship program–one that will strengthen young believers, and catapult them into The Harvest.
  • I plan on creating a book, or series of books, to teach kingdom principles that help lay the foundation for the abundant life Jesus promised every believer.
  • Yes, we can ASK. We can ask the Lord with joy-FULL crazy abandon!

Yep, even crazy prayers!

I believe if you serve an Omnipotent King you should ask worthy of the King you serve. And if He says, “Anything?” surely He means it.

Look! I am the Eternal, the God of all living things. Is anything too difficult for Me? Jeremiah 32:27 The Voice

Weeping may endure for a night…

What breaks your HEART?

(My heart breaks for prodigals.)

What do you WORRY about the most?

(I worry that they will miss out on their destined purpose!)

What brings tears to your eyes the moment you go THERE?

(The Nations–full of people losing hope in record numbers!)

How would you CHANGE the world if you could?

(Jesus. Only Jesus, can save this broken planet, but He’s chosen to do it through you.)

So, what IMPOSSIBLE thing might you dare to ask God for?

(I’m talkin’ Ephesians 3:20 IMPOSSIBLE!)

Darlin’ this is your “Crazy Prayer List” that you want to sow before the LORD!

… But Joy will be harvested in the morning!

On this blog we believe we are called to live an Ephesians 3:20 life.

(Do we sometimes weep as we sow?)

Yes, of course we do. But not all tears are tears of misery.

Last week? We spoke of happy tears. The week before we sang Psalm 126 with Jesus. This psalm paints the portrait of a sower “weeping as he sows.”

Meaning, that even if you plant in tears, one day you will reap a harvest life full of joy!

This week?

I want us to DREAM with Jesus!

Let’s take our crazy-faith prayer list to Isaiah Chapter 35 and imagine:

Surprised By Hope

Imagine the wilderness whooping for joy,
    the desert’s unbridled happiness with its spring flowers.
It will happen! The deserts will come alive with new growth budding and blooming,
    singing and celebrating with sheer delight.
The glory of Lebanon’s cedars and the majesty of Carmel and Sharon
    will spill over to the deserts.
The glory of the Eternal One will be on full display there,
    and they will revel in the majestic splendor of our God.

So, with confidence and hope in this message,
    strengthen those with feeble hands, shore up the weak-kneed and weary.
Tell those who worry, the anxious and fearful,
    “Take strength; have courage! There’s nothing to fear.
Look, here—your God! Right here is your God!
    The balance is shifting; God will right all wrongs.
None other than God will give you success.
    He is coming to make you safe.”

Then, such healing, such repair: the eyes of the blind will be opened;
    the ears of the deaf will be clear.
The lame will leap like deer excited;
    they will run and jump tirelessly and gracefully.
The stutterer, the stammerer, and the tongue of the mute
    will sing out loud and clear in joyful song.
Waters will pour through the deserts;
    streams will flow in godforsaken lands.
Burning sands and hardened wastelands will become pools, shimmering with life;
    the thirsty ground will drink deep from refreshing springs.
Abandoned villages where predators once lurked will become grassy playgrounds.
    Dry, arid land will turn lush and green.

I Pray Crazy Prayers

And the road to this happy renovation will be clearly signed.
    People will declare the way itself to be holy—the route, “sacred.”
Only those who are right with God
    will be able to walk its pleasant path,
And nobody—no visitor, no dimwit—will get lost along it.
There’ll be no lions lying in wait, no predators or dangers in sight.
    Only those made right with God will journey there.
Those whom the Eternal One has recalled from a punishing exile,
    they will go along so easily. They will walk this path,
Come waltzing to Zion, singing their way
    to that place of right relation to God.
An aura of joy never-ending will attend them;
    they will clasp gladness and joy to their hearts,
While sadness and despair evaporate into thin air.

Isaiah 35 ~ The Voice

… I tell you this: if you had even a faint spark of faith, even faith as tiny as a mustard seed, you could say to this mountain, “Move from here to there,” and because of your faith, the mountain would move. If you had just a sliver of faith, you would find nothing impossible.
